The Sun City
Center (SCC) Shrine Club was organized in 1968 and now
has members from 71 different Shrines. These Nobles are
joined together, most of them in their retirement years,
to continue their support of our Fraternity's major
philanthropy, the SHRINERS HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN.
We
hold a Pancake Brunch each spring and fall as our major
fundraiser for the hospital. More than 150 Nobles
participate in the effort with the Sausage Cookers
beginning at 4:30 AM and serving an average of 1700
individuals prior to 1:30 PM.
The Club has a Parade Group made up of 65 Nobles ranging
in age to 89 years old. At most parades in the Tampa
area, we have approximately 45 Nobles either marching in
the Patrol, riding on the Float, clowning, or riding
their motor cycles.
Our Nobles' Ladies and/or their widows have their own We
CARE Club where they make items for the children in the
Tampa Unit Hospital. They also make items to sell at the
Fall Pancake Brunch with the proceeds going to the
Hospital Fund.

Requirements - Fill out a petition. Must be a Noble
with a current dues card from any Shrine.

Dues -
$10.00 per year plus a $5.00 initiation fee.

Meeting
- The Club meets at the Community Hall on the second
Wednesday each month. The WeCare Club meets at the
same time. Social hour begins at 11:30 AM with lunch
and meeting starting at noon. Dress is casual with
FEZ.
