The Tin Lizzie Unit was organized in 1972, with an authorized strength of 24 car-owning members and 5 reserve members.|

Since its inception, the Tin Lizzies have been a family-oriented Unit and as such, we are one of the best-fed Shrine Units in existence. Our Ladies are affectionately referred to as our Pit Crew, and they support us in all of our efforts.

Competition plays a big part in our way of life. Our Unit room reflects the numerous trophies our competition team has brought back over the years for excellence in both the competitive drill and obstacle course victories.

We drive replicas of the 1910 Ford Tin Lizzies. Each Noble owns his equipment and is responsible for its maintenance. Our parade inventory of cars include a Tin Lizzie Flag car and a remodeled Tin Lizzie Wrecker/Tow Truck.

Any Noble who wishes, may visit our Unit room, located in the Egypt Shrine Unit Building.

We are strong supporters of the Shrine Circus, our Hospitals, motorized competition, and of course, we will parade at the drop of a fez.

This Unit comes out in force to the Children's Christmas Party, the Easter Egg Hunt and any other party to give rides to the children in attendance.
